Editor's Summary: Juvenile delinquency and juvenile violence have become central topics of debate in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past few months – from internet forums, TV news and parliament sessions to public protests on the streets of Sarajevo. However, juvenile delinquency and juvenile aggression are social pathologies the world over.

Many social protagonists, phenomena and processes, in one way or another, affect the nature and frequency of juvenile delinquency and violence.

The media and new media technologies are certainly factors that should be taken into account when we speak about these issues, and especially if we take into consideration the amount of violence found therein on a daily basis.

In this text, the author tires to set up a theoretical framework for understanding the connection between new media and juvenile violence and to point out new trends in juvenile aggression influenced by, among other things, new media contents, channels and protagonists, and reflected in the use of new media technologies for the production and broadcasting of violence turned generational pastime.
